trip up the 5 north

i must say, california's had enough, 

enough of southern hospitality and genuine warm sun

it has had enough of missing insincere friendships and drowning in a pool of hot lava

there are no volcanoes here, nor tornados, nor unlivable six feet snow

california loves sincerely, as i am, 

crazy, manic, and full of enough love to kill your entire family

i don't care that you don't care, for i am not waiting for a good bye  song, just know

that anything  i ever wrote you  was sincere and true sweet friend
