Totally Tod

casi se me olvido poner otro video del proyecto que estoy haciendo. aqui esta el video de Tod Adrian Wisenbaker un musico de California. Lo grabamos en Los Angeles aqui en una cuidad que se llama Silverlake. Yo pasaba mucho tiempo en esta casa antes, cuando mis mejores amigos de hace anos los australianos vivian aqui. Ahora es casa de Tod, Micky, Ted y otro companero de piso que a llegado de Portland.

Yo conosi Tod cuando yo tenia 17 anos por medio de Michael Runion un musico que tambien me encanta. Tod y Michael son la razon que comenze a tocar guitarra por que yo queria ser como ellos. Tod me enviaba canciones y yo las escuchaba a tope; canciones como "going to long beach" y una que le escribio a sus padres para navidad (son mis favoritas) Te digo yo me se cada cancion de Tod desde esa temporada por que yo en mi cabeza queria ser la version mujer de Tod Wisenbaker. Lo ivamos a ver tocar varias veces yo y mis amigos y tambien hasta toco en mi casa un set acoustico estillo como este video. Sus letras son bien bonitas aunque me hacen sentir un poco triste su manera de escribir. Siempre se va en gira con otros grupos a tocar guitarra y antes estaba en un grupo que se llama Whispertown 2000,  pero al fin se queda en Los Angeles por una temporada asi escribe mas canciones! Digo esto con muchas ganas,  gracias a Tod por sus canciones tristes que me han echo escribir mis propias canciones tristes.

I had first met Tod when I was 17 thru Michael Runion a musician I am also quite fond of. Tod and Michael are pretty much the reason I ever started to play guitar because I really wanted to be the female version of them. They used to play Fuck Yeah Fest back when it was in Echo Park at The Echo, houses around the neighborhood, Sea Level records and the back parking lots off of Echo park blvd. Tod has written some of my favorite songs of all time like this one here "Going to Long Beach" and a song he had written for his parents for christmas that I would still have if my first mac book from 6 years ago still worked. There is talk around town about the news man makin an honest living 
out of the children's work in the sweat shops.

Every time you close your eyes I want to scream at the walls.
Why? because you're falling on your knees to be held when all I want is to run around town praising the buildings. There was... there it was the type writer right there
never been touched and I dusted it off took it home in hopes to be fancied by a modern day Bukowski. Only he spit at my words with the same alcohol scented breath and I found it to be the most charming damn thing this town's ever seen.
I don't dance like the cats but when I type my hands move like the spiders. I was proud of this, not more than the reason that I was obsessed with Daddy Long Legs. for what do I owe the .. oh just stop the pompous banter and try not to make any noise while i'm reading, I have quite the day tomorrow. I'm going to take life with naked fists... who said that? Do you remember? I sure as hell don't and I quoted that very line throughout my entire childhood like a catholic school prayer. I'm quite sure it was Bandini, my Los Angeles childhood Hero. please don't chase the clouds.. see you never

One of the most unique funniest films I've seen in a while. It was insanely fun to shoot photos for this film and run around hollywood with these dudes. You can see the trailer here starring all of your friends if you hang around Beachwood Canyon
