In June of 2010 I went to Paris to see Adan. I fell down the escalators at the Charles de Gaulle airport and started to bleed all over the place. I boarded the train and was bleeding profusely, it was like a beating heart in my leg. No one would sit next to me on the train, everyone would just stare at my leg in disgust. A small boy came over to me with napkins that his mum had given him for me. It was an incredible day because I was in Bastille and I was going to see Adan. I finally found Adan's house. I met Sacha for the first time with my bleeding leg, and Spock too. I stayed in the shower for eternity while my leg bled down the drains. The blood fell in puddles, the scars on my leg still remain two years later, my souvenir forever from paris, adan, and my birthday in 2010.
About a week ago Ben and I went to see our friend Andy Clockwise play at Sayers. It was grand, we danced like animals and it was incredible. Afterwards we went outside to start heading home and a girl came running down the street. She came screaming at us that her brother had been stabbed. Ben followed her to her brother, and I followed after him. The people in front of the club did nothing, crowds of people ignored this girls cries. Her brother was on the ground with puddles of blood, the police held his legs up and he was bleeding worst than I had ever seen anyone bleed before. My heart stopped and I couldn't move. We went back to the car and Ben had to drive because I couldn't. When we got back to the house neither of us could speak, we were both shaking and we had no idea how to speak to one another.
